Time is slipping away like grains of sand.It is something we require the most and use worst.A ticking clock takes away the never to return ever lost time.Time is flying and we have no control over it. We feel helpless. Twenty four hours seems to be a shorter duration available to us .We wonder how some people are engaged in so many activities but still are available to do more and others are always with no time availability.The secret lies in Organizing their Time.

TIME MANAGEMENT  

It  refers to the process of organizing specific activities in a planned way so that maximum output can  achieved.This is what we call  increased Productivity.

It is exercising a conscious control over time spent on each activity and channelizing it in an efficient manner such that optimum utilization takes place and no wastage occur.
"Time is money"so we need to use it smartly isn't it.We are given an asset of 86400 seconds daily to be invested.Unfortunately,we tend to loose this asset and fail to realize it.Dividing our time to the available chores in such a way that "PRIORITY"tasks are worked out first and then the "less important ones "shall make all the Difference.All of us work hard but irrational wastage leaves us puzzled.So lets work out a Strategy to Manage our Time.

STRATEGIES TO TIME MANAGEMENT


✔    Reschedule yourself
  1. Write down your schedule.
  2. Now tick down all the activities that contribute 80%of your happiness personal&professional(80-

    20 rule).
  3. These are your "Priorities"
  4. Now start crossing all the activities that contribute nothing to your happiness in any field.You have been doing them as all others do it or you think someone told you to do it.
  5. These are "Eliminations"of your schedule .Refrain from doing them or do it in leisure,if available.
  6. Start Editing
  7. Reschedule yourself

✔    Prepare a To do List every morning
  1. Chalk out a to do list every morning.
  2. Note the activities as per your order of  priority.
  3. Start with the important ones.
  4. Delegate those activities which you can.
  5. This is your plan for  the  day.


✔    Organize your day as Planned        

  1. Stick to what was planned
  2. Deviations would appear
  3. Try and come back to the plan
  4. Leave Buffer time between each activity

✔     Follow up in the Evening
  1. Find out deviations
  2. Analyse reasons for their appearance
  3. Find out ways to deal with them if regular
  4. Sleep with a list of activities to be done next day.
As you follow the above schedule for a day you will realize that deviations occur,Here You need to be a friend to your self and analyse the reasons why did it happen DISCIPLINE your self .You need to be committed to what you had planned.At the same time you need to be calm about it.Habits do not change in a day .Consistency pays here.Procrastination can lead you back to missed dead lines and puzzled situations.Be careful.However,with above mentioned guidelines Productivity will shoot up.

  9. Leave sometime in a day to handle your mails and social networking sites
  10. Learn to say NO.

  1. Do not PROCRASTINATE
  2. Do not waste time on social networking sites every now and then.
  3. Forward a helping hand to your colleague if your dead lines are not met.
  4. Violate your Rules for the day.
